Accru Harris Orchard has expanded its footprint in South Australia through partnering with longstanding McLaren Vale firm PCS Accountants and Business Advisors. With a 30-year history in McLaren Vale and nine staff, PCS principal Andrew Jeynes will become a director of Accru Harris Orchard and retain 50% ownership of PCS.
PCS and Accru Harris Orchard have enjoyed a cooperative relationship for several years, so it was an easy decision to formalise the relationship, which now gives Accru Harris Orchard two offices in South Australia.
The partnership will benefit the clients of both firms, who will be able to access specialist accounting and business advisory services in two locations – Dulwich and McLaren Vale. James Orchard, Managing Director said, “McLaren Vale and the southern suburbs of Adelaide are growing economic hubs, thanks to various developments such as an increase in wine and tourism activity and the extension of the Southern Expressway which has helped to open the region up.”
Andrew Jeynes agreed that the timing of this partnership is fitting. “McLaren Vale and its surrounding regions are home to brands that have a national and even global reputation. The growth potential is enormous and it’s exciting for us to be able to offer our clients access to a greater depth of services and expertise through an existing local office,” explained Mr Jeynes.
The shared vision of both companies, of building great businesses, made it an easy decision to join forces which will be a win-win for clients as well as staff, who will be able to grow and develop their skills and expertise by being part of a larger company with a team of 60 people.
