All Accru Harris Orchard policies and procedures are available in the Knowledge section of FYIDocs.
Employees are informed of new policies as needed – either through meetings or via email, depending on the nature of the policy.
Any feedback or proposed amendments to policies should be discussed with the designated person responsible, as outlined in each policy document.
Internet Use
Accru Harris Orchard has established policies regarding internet usage. In summary:
- Internet access is intended for business purposes only.
- Employees must not use the internet for private commercial activities unrelated to the firm.
- Any illegal or unauthorised use of the internet is strictly prohibited.
Emails
Please refer to our policies on email usage, and being available and responsive.
Breach of Information Security
Breaches of Accru Harris Orchard’s Information Security or Privacy policies are considered misconduct. Consequences may include:
- Recording of a quality incident for the individual concerned.
- Investigation and disciplinary action in line with Accru Harris Orchard’s Disciplinary Guidelines, up to and including dismissal.
- Potential criminal and/or civil liability for the individual involved.
Professional Code of Conduct
Client Confidentiality
Under governing professional standards, laws, and Accru Harris Orchard policies, it is crucial to protect all information in our possession. This includes:
- Confidential business information
- Personal data (in paper or electronic form) related to current, past, or prospective employees, clients, and contractors
Maintaining confidentiality ensures trust and compliance with legal and ethical obligations.
Conduct at Clients’ Premises
While at clients’ premises, employees must always conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner. The firm’s reputation is influenced by employee behaviour, so it is essential to demonstrate:
- Technical competence
- Professional appearance, including appropriate attire
- Tidiness and organisation
- Punctuality and reliability

Outside Work and Personal Activities
To provide the highest level of service to our clients, employees are expected to give their full attention to their work at Accru Harris Orchard.
Any work performed by an employee reflects on the firm. Therefore, employees are not permitted to engage in additional paid work – whether during work hours or personal time – without prior approval from the Ethics & Independence Partner.
Media Inquiries
All media requests must be referred to the Administration Office. Employees should not communicate with the media as representatives of Accru Harris Orchard unless prior permission has been granted.
